CURSOR-CRM Integrates Geo-Analytics

The Geo-Analytics tool in CURSOR-CRM shows you the spatial distribution of your customers as well as their classification (A, B and C customers).

In cooperation with FICHTNER IT Consulting AG, CURSOR has developed CURSOR-Geo-Analytics, a geographic planning tool. The fully integrated solution visualizes customer and business data on maps that are displayed directly in the user interface. Location and contact details in the CRM system are automatically geocoded.

With the words "a very warm welcome in this historic sports week," the directors Thomas Ruehl and Juergen Topp opened the General Meeting of CURSOR Software AG on 15th July 2014. Two days after the German football team won the World Championship, the directors positively concluded the financial year 2013, which has seen an approximately 27 percent increase in turnover. Giessen-based CURSOR is one of the leading providers of software and consulting services in the fields of customer relationship management (CRM) and business process management (BPM) as well as IBM databases.

RWE Vertrieb AG is one of the biggest energy suppliers and energy service providers in Germany and has almost four million electricity and gas customers. As part of a comprehensive reorganisation project, the company implements the CRM energy industry solution EVI in the B2B division. The application is an integral part of an end-to-end solution based on standard products that will support all processes, from the first customer contact to invoicing, in B2B energy sales.
